Art Classes:

Drawing, Perceptions & Process

A structured exploration of art practice, theory and creative problem-solving, led by accomplished Norfolk based artist Jake Hithersay, BA (Hons).

Whether you are reclaiming a dormant talent, improving your ability, or simply trying something new, this 6-week course uses drawing to build your Technical Craft and Creative Thinking.

We’ll use Pencil, Charcoal and Pen as our basic mark-making tools, helping us to keep focussed on the technical architecture of art while learning to deconstruct and contextualise your own creative thinking and processes.

The courses are strictly limited to 10 spaces to ensure 1-on-1 guidance. This gives the opportunity to focus on your individual approach and develop elements that are important to you.

What to expect : Course structure

This course offers a structured exploration of Perceptions, Theories, and Creative Problem Solving, we’ll cover the fundamentals of Planning, Composition, Perspective and Tonality using drawing and how these can apply to either Landscape or Figurative works and how to develop meaningful personal Abstract interpretations that are visually striking.
